Privacy notice
Effective date: 4 October 2026
What we collect when you use puntacanacityplace.net or write to us, why, who receives it, how long we keep it, and how to use your rights.
In short: we use your details to answer your request. We send them to a developer only if you tick the box that asks us to. We call, text or use WhatsApp only if you tick the box that allows it. We do not sell your data. Analytics and ad cookies load only if you accept them.
Who we are
Conte Real Estate is a brand of ConteRE SRL, a company registered in the Dominican Republic. We run puntacanacityplace.net and decide how the details you send us are used.
ConteRE SRL, Dominican Republic
Email: concierge@conterealestate.com
We present real estate projects in the Dominican Republic and introduce buyers to each project's developer. The developer pays us a fee if a buyer we introduced buys. You pay us nothing. We do not sell property, and we do not give investment, legal or tax advice.
What we collect
When you send the form on our pages:
- What you type: your name and email and, depending on the form, your mobile or WhatsApp number, where you live (a US state or outside the US), what you are looking for (primary home, rental property or second home), the area, your budget, when you plan to buy and a message. Each form shows which fields are required.
- Your choices in the two optional boxes. Box 1 asks us to send your details to the developer of the project. Box 2 allows us to call, text or WhatsApp you.
- What the page adds: the project you asked about, the page language and, if you came from one of our ads or links, the campaign tags in the page address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) and Google's click ID (gclid, gbraid or wbraid).
- The record of your consent: the time you sent the form, your IP address and the version of the box texts you saw.
When you visit the site: Netlify, the company that hosts it, records technical data about each visit, such as your IP address, your browser and the page you asked for, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads collect more; see cookies, analytics and ads.
When you email concierge@conterealestate.com or another Conte Real Estate address: we keep the email, and our CRM (the record where we follow up each request) logs the sender and the subject, plus the first lines for concierge@conterealestate.com, so that no request goes unanswered.
When you call us or message us by text or WhatsApp: we note your details and what you asked.
From others: if a person or a partner refers you to us, we note who referred you. If we introduce you to a developer, the developer tells us how your purchase progresses (visit, reservation, contract and price), because our fee depends on it.
We also keep our own notes on your request: when we answered, the next step and what you told us.
Why we use it
Each use has a reason, which the law calls a legal basis. We use your details:
- To answer your request about a project by email, for example with the developer's price list, and follow it up. Basis: your request.
- To send your details to the developer of the project you asked about, so its sales team can answer you. Basis: your consent in box 1. Without it, we answer you ourselves and share nothing with the developer.
- To call, text or WhatsApp you, including automated messages. Basis: your consent in box 2. Without it, we answer by email only.
- To keep a record of your consent and of any request to stop, so we can show that we respect them. Basis: our legal duties.
- To see which states requests come from, and which ads, links and pages bring them, so we can decide where to advertise. Basis: our legitimate interest in running the business; for cookies, your consent.
- To follow an introduction until the developer pays our fee. Basis: your request in box 1 and our agreement with the developer.
- To keep the site and the form safe and free of spam. Basis: our legitimate interest in a secure site.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties and to defend legal claims. Basis: the law.
We do not use your details for other purposes without asking you first. We make no automated decisions about you, and we do not build profiles that lead to decisions with legal or similar effects on you.
Who receives it
The developer, only if you ask. If you tick box 1, we send your contact details, where you live and what you are looking for to the developer of the project you asked about, named on that project's page, so its sales team can answer you. From then on, the developer uses them under its own privacy policy. If you leave box 1 blank, the developer gets nothing from us.
Service providers that work for us. They handle your details on our behalf, under their contracts with us, and only to provide their service:
- Netlify (United States): hosts the site, receives and stores each form, and emails us a copy.
- Zapier (United States): copies each form, and a log of the emails we receive, into our CRM.
- Microsoft (United States): our email (Microsoft 365) and the Excel workbook in OneDrive that holds our CRM. Only named people can open the CRM.
- Google (United States): Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking, only if you accept cookies. Google also uses some of this data for its own purposes, as it explains in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Meta (WhatsApp): carries our WhatsApp messages, only if you ticked box 2 and we write to you there.
When the law requires it, we also give data to a court or a public authority. If ConteRE SRL merges with another company or is sold, your details pass to the new owner under this notice.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not pass it to companies that trade in data. When you tick box 1, we send your details to the developer because you ask us to. The developer pays us a fee only if you buy, not for your details. Under US state privacy laws, such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, sharing data to provide a service you asked for is not a sale.
Cookies, analytics and ads
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Our site loads no analytics or advertising tags until you choose. On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies.
- If you accept, we use Google Analytics, to see how visitors use the site and which pages lead to a request, and Google Ads conversion tracking, to see whether a visit from one of our ads ended in a form. Google receives your IP address, details of your browser and device, the pages you visit and, if you came from an ad, the ad click. Its cookies last from 90 days to two years unless you delete them or change your choice.
- If you reject them, none of these tags load, and the site works the same. If you accepted before and now reject, the site deletes Google's cookies from our domain and stops loading the tags.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a refusal, and the tags do not load.
Before you choose, the site sets no cookies. Your browser keeps two small notes for us: your cookie choice, so we do not ask again on every page, and the campaign tags and click ID of your visit, so they reach the form if you open another page. The second is deleted when you close the tab and is sent to us only with the form.
Targeted advertising. We do not use targeted advertising as US state privacy laws define it: we do not pick ads for you based on what you do on other sites over time. Our Google ads appear for what people search for, in the places we choose. Conversion tracking only measures whether an ad led to a form, and those laws do not count that as targeted advertising. Google's cookies can still recognise your browser on other sites, so we treat them with the same care: they load only if you accept, and you can opt out at any time.
How to opt out:
- Choose "Reject" on the cookie banner.
- Change your choice with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of our pages, or with the button below.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or with an extension (about GPC).
- Write to us at concierge@conterealestate.com.
- Use Google's own controls: My Ad Center and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Cookie settings: you can change your choice here at any time.
Calls, texts, WhatsApp and email
- We email you from concierge@conterealestate.com about your request. To stop our emails, reply "unsubscribe" or write to us; we stop within 10 business days at most.
- We call, text or WhatsApp you only if you ticked box 2, sometimes with automated messages. Consent is not required to buy anything. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
- We call and text between 8 am and 9 pm your local time (8 am to 8 pm in Florida).
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or HELP for help. On WhatsApp, write STOP. To stop calls, tell us during the call or by email. We stop calls, texts and WhatsApp messages within 10 business days at most, and we can still answer you by email unless you ask us to stop that too.
- WhatsApp messages travel through Meta's service, under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
- Box 2 covers messages from Conte Real Estate only. We do not share your consent to texts, or the record of it, with anyone. If you ticked box 1, the developer receives your number with your other details, and box 2 does not cover its messages.
Sensitive data
We do not ask for sensitive data: racial or ethnic origin, religion, health, sex life or sexual orientation, citizenship or immigration status, genetic or biometric data, or precise location. We also do not need ID or Social Security numbers, passport details or bank details. Please do not send any of these in the form or by email. If you send them anyway, we do not use them, and we delete them as soon as we see them.
How long we keep it
- Your lead record in our CRM: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then we delete it.
- The copy of each form that Netlify stores: deleted within 90 days of receipt.
- Emails between you and us, including the email copy of each form: kept as business records for as long as we have a business reason or a legal duty to keep them.
- If we introduced you to a developer: the record of the introduction (your name, the project, the dates and the outcome), for as long as our agreement with the developer and tax and accounting rules require.
- If you ask us to stop contacting you: your email or number on a do-not-contact list, only so we keep respecting your request.
- Google Analytics: visit-level data for 14 months at most; after that, only totals remain.
- Our providers' technical logs, such as Netlify's visit logs and Zapier's log of each transfer: deleted on each provider's own schedule.
If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it sooner, except what the law requires us to keep.
How we protect it
- The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
- Forms, email and the CRM sit in accounts that need a sign-in, and only the people who handle requests can open them.
- The CRM is shared with named people only, never through an open link.
- We keep no lead data in our website files.
- We give each provider only what it needs.
No system is completely safe. If a security incident puts your data at risk, we tell you, and the authorities where the law requires it.
Transfers to the US and the Dominican Republic
We work from the Dominican Republic. Netlify, Zapier, Microsoft and Google store data in the United States and may also use other countries. So your details travel between the United States and the Dominican Republic, where we read and answer them. If you ticked box 1, they also go to the developer, which is usually in the Dominican Republic. Data protection laws differ from country to country. We use only providers that commit by contract to protect the data, and this notice applies wherever your data is.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for:
- Access: we confirm whether we hold data about you and give you a copy.
- Correction: we fix data that is wrong.
- Deletion: we delete your data.
- Portability: we send you the data you gave us in a common file format you can take elsewhere.
- Opt-out: no sale of your data, no targeted advertising, and no profiling that leads to decisions with legal or similar effects on you. We do none of these, but you can still ask, and we record your choice.
- Withdrawal of consent: for box 1, box 2 or cookies, at any time. It does not undo what we did before; we stop from then on. If we already sent your details to a developer, we tell it that you withdrew.
We will not treat you differently for using these rights. Some have limits: for example, we may keep what the law requires us to keep, and we tell you when that applies.
These rights come from US state privacy laws, such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. We honour them for everyone, wherever they live.
In the Dominican Republic, Law 172-13 on the protection of personal data gives you the rights of access, rectification (correction) and cancellation (deletion) of your data. If we do not answer, or you disagree with our answer, you can bring a habeas data action before the Dominican courts.
How to use your rights
You can send a request in two ways:
- By email to concierge@conterealestate.com, with "Privacy request" in the subject.
- Through the form on any of our pages, with your request in the message box.
Tell us what you want us to do, and which email or phone number you used with us. To protect your data, we check that the request comes from you, usually by writing to the email we have on file. We may ask for one more detail, never more than we need. Someone else can make the request for you if you give them written permission; we may check with you. Requests are free.
We answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you why within those 45 days, and we answer within 45 more days at most.
Appeal. If we turn down your request, in whole or in part, you can appeal: reply to our answer with "Appeal" in the subject line. We answer your appeal in writing within 60 days and explain our decision. If we deny your appeal, you can complain to the attorney general of your state. In Texas, use the Texas Attorney General's consumer privacy complaint page.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our services, our providers or the law change. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change affects how we use details you already gave us, we tell you by email before it applies and, where the law requires, ask for your consent again.
